Mobile Training Facilities

The Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) issued a public tender for the design and fabrication of Mobile Training Facilities (MTF).

Relocatables Australia submitted a tender with a conceptual design, following site visits by the DFES Project Managers, Relocatables Australia was awarded the contract.

The brief for the MTFs was that they had to be robust to withstand regular travel, able to be lifted onto transport by crane, forklift, side lifter and tilt tray. The MTFs also had to be fully self sufficient with onboard generators. The two MTFs are in use across the state being used for training career and volunteer emergency service personnel in driving techniques.
